Finnair wins Lounge of the Year award - based on more than 40,000 ratings

For the first time since the Priority Pass Lounge of the Year awards began, the winner comes from outside of the Americas, in the form of the Finnair Lounge at Helsinki Airport in Vantaa.

The award is based on more than 40,000 ratings made by Priority Pass members around the world, with the Finnair Lounge coming out on top ahead of more than 600 other airport loungesthat our members have access too.

Located in Terminal 2, the spacious airport lounge offers a wide selection of drinks and snacks, as well as a buffet service that caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

On top of the usual comfortable seating areas, the lounge also has six private shower suites and luggage storage so is ideal for those with long-haul layovers.

And next to the airport lounge is a spa offering treatments to counter the side-effects of flying, including a steam room, saunas and stone bath.

The Finnair Lounge also offers a perfect working environment and as well as winning the overall Lounge of the Year prize, it also scooped the Best Business Facilities title.
