5 airport lounges at Manchester International, UK

If you are flying out of Manchester in the UK, there are five airport lounges you can gain access to as a Priority Pass member split between terminals one and two.

Terminal One plays host to three airport lounges – Wilmslow, Bollin and Escape.

To access the Wilmslow airport lounge, once through passport control you find the lounge on the floor above. It’s open from 5am to 8pm and offers refreshments, newspapers, internet ports, Wi-Fi and TVs.

Please bear in mind that children under the age of 12 won't be allowed into the Wilmslow lounge and smart-casual dress is required at all times.

A similar dress code is in force in the nearby Bollin airport lounge, although here there are no restrictions on the presence of children and it opens earlier at 4am. The same facilities as the Wilmslow lounge are available.

The Escape airport lounge is the final one in Terminal One. This lounge also offers conference facilities, as well as a waiter service for food and drink orders. There is a choice of freshly-prepared dishes available on top of the self-service buffet.

The lounge also offers a premium menu although the food and drinks on this menu are subject to payment.

You can stay in this airport lounge for a maximum of three hours and you'll find it situated past the security checks and duty free area – just follow the signs to the Executive Lounges. Children under 2 are admitted for free.

There is another Escape lounge in Terminal Two. This one can be accessed via the elevators and stairs opposite gates 208 and 209, and again has a three-hour maximum stay, whilst children under the age of six will not be admitted.

The final airport lounge is the Styal Lounge, which is upstairs from passport control. It's open from 4am with closing at 7.30pm or 8pm depending on the day.

Smart casual dress is required at all times and there are a range of business and refreshment facilities available.
